It is not very common for people to associate health with success, but I have found that they are in fact closely related. In order to achieve everything you are capable of, you must be able to use your mind and body effectively. Without optimum health, you can't possibly achieve optimum performance in your life. Performing to the best of your abilities is what creates success and achievements, so get healthy and watch your successes multiply!
I would like to stress the importance of weight loss in regards to overall health. I believe that losing weight, which most people could afford to do, can greatly enhance the quality of one's life. The reasons for this are many. For one, losing weight will make you feel good about yourself. It will give you a boost in confidence that will likely allow you to accomplish things that you wouldn't have otherwise. Confidence is essential for success, and looking good is a great way to enhance your self-esteem.
Secondly, weight loss usually means an improvement in health. It is certainly possible to lose weight and still be unhealthy, but that is why I stress the importance of doing it the right way. Losing weight the right way involves the consumption of healthy foods. If you feed your body with whole food, such as fruits and vegetables, you will give your body the nutrients it needs to operate at full capacity. Without these foods, your body becomes 'mineral deficient' which simply means your body is not getting everything it needs. In this case, your body and especially your mind, is forced to perform below peak levels. This can only mean less success for you.
The brain is an extremely powerful machine and if used properly, it can propel a person to great success and achievement. The human brain is responsible for all the amazing things you see in the world today, such as technology, infrastructure, art and music. These things all were created by a human mind. If we can fuel our mind with more nutrition, we can increase its ability to create. The ability to create is what ultimately brings change in our life, in the form of achievements such as starting a business or creating a work of art. Can we really afford not to feed our brains the right materials?
The message I stress is that what we put into our bodies is responsible for the health of our body and our mind, and the health of our body and mind is one of the major determining factors of our level of success and achievement. It is important to realize that these things are all connected. To neglect one is to sacrifice another.
